Guava TeaGuava is a known tropical tree with nutritious fruits used for food. Native to the countries of Central America like Panama and Mexico, guavas are known as goiabeira, guayabo, kuawa, or amrood (in Arabic nations), and nowadays this tree is being cultivated in tropical and subtropical zones around the world, including Australia.  Guava fruits have culinary uses: for preparing beverages, sauces, powder mixtures, dried fruit mixtures, jelly, marmalade, and so on. The spicy of apple guava (Psidium guajava) has a variety of therapeutic properties and its leaves or bark are included to a number of natural treatments and herbal remedies in folk medicines of some nations. This medicinal plant has been used in alternative medicine for many centuries, primarily for the effects of guava leaves and guava tea for various gastrointestinal problems. (more…)
